Roadside repair questions we get every day
How fast can you get to my truck in Los Angeles?
Our average response across the Greater Los Angeles freight corridor is about 60 minutes. Actual time depends on where you are and traffic — a call on the 710 near the port is usually quicker than one at the north end of the I-5. Tell dispatch your exact location and we will give you a real ETA before we roll.
Can a Class 8 truck be repaired at the roadside, or do I need a tow?
Most roadside calls are finished on site. Our mobile units carry OEM diagnostic software, air brake and wheel-end tooling, DPF regeneration equipment and the heavy jacks a Class 8 tractor needs. A tow is only the right answer when the repair cannot be done safely on the shoulder or the part has to come off the truck.
What should I tell dispatch when I call?
Four things get you a faster fix: your exact location including freeway and nearest exit or mile marker, the truck make and engine, what the truck is doing or refusing to do, and whether you are loaded. Any fault codes on the dash help us bring the right parts on the first trip.
Do you answer at night and on weekends?
Yes. Dispatch runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, because breakdowns do not wait for shop hours. Call (310) 945-7223 at any hour and you will reach a person rather than a voicemail box.
Which engines and truck makes do you work on?
We are factory-trained on Cummins and Detroit Diesel engines, including Cummins LNG and CNG alternative-fuel systems. On the chassis side we work on Freightliner, International, Isuzu, Hino and Autocar — the makes our technicians spent seventeen years servicing inside OEM dealerships.
